Les questions sur les effets potentiels d'un diagnostic de sant\u00e9 mentale ou d'ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents de traitement sur une demande d'immigration sont courantes \u2014 et compr\u00e9hensibles.<\/p>\n<h3><b>La sant\u00e9 mentale est-elle \u00e9valu\u00e9e lors de l'examen m\u00e9dical pour l'immigration ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Le m\u00e9decin d\u00e9sign\u00e9 prend des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents m\u00e9dicaux complets incluant les conditions de sant\u00e9 mentale pass\u00e9es et actuelles. Vous devez divulguer tout trouble de sant\u00e9 mentale diagnostiqu\u00e9, toute hospitalisation psychiatrique et tout m\u00e9dicament pris \u00e0 cet effet.<\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00e9decin d\u00e9sign\u00e9 ne prend pas de d\u00e9cisions d'admissibilit\u00e9 \u2014 il documente les informations m\u00e9dicales et les soumet \u00e0 IRCC par eM\u00e9dical. Ce sont les agents m\u00e9dicaux d'IRCC qui prennent la d\u00e9cision d'admissibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Quels troubles de sant\u00e9 mentale IRCC pourrait-il consid\u00e9rer ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Le cadre d'inadmissibilit\u00e9 m\u00e9dicale d'IRCC \u00e9value les conditions selon deux axes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Danger pour la sant\u00e9 publique ou la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 publique : seuil \u00e9lev\u00e9, non d\u00e9clench\u00e9 simplement par un diagnostic de sant\u00e9 mentale.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Fardeau excessif pour les services de sant\u00e9 ou sociaux : IRCC peut \u00e9valuer si le co\u00fbt anticip\u00e9 du traitement d\u00e9passerait le seuil de fardeau excessif.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Avoir un trouble de sant\u00e9 mentale diagnostiqu\u00e9 \u2014 d\u00e9pression, anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, TSPT, trouble bipolaire \u2014 ne vous rend pas automatiquement inadmissible.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Qu'en est-il des conditions bien g\u00e9r\u00e9es ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Une condition de sant\u00e9 mentale bien g\u00e9r\u00e9e avec un traitement standard est moins susceptible de d\u00e9clencher une pr\u00e9occupation d'inadmissibilit\u00e9 qu'une condition non trait\u00e9e ou instable. La conformit\u00e9 document\u00e9e au traitement et le fonctionnement stable peuvent constituer des preuves importantes.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Ce que vous devez divulguer<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Soyez honn\u00eate et complet lorsque votre m\u00e9decin d\u00e9sign\u00e9 pose des questions sur vos ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents de sant\u00e9 mentale. Dissimuler une condition n'est pas conseill\u00e9 \u2014 les agents m\u00e9dicaux d'IRCC examinent votre historique complet. La divulgation d'une condition g\u00e9r\u00e9e ne m\u00e8ne pas automatiquement \u00e0 un r\u00e9sultat n\u00e9gatif.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Si IRCC \u00e9met une lettre d'\u00e9quit\u00e9 proc\u00e9durale<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Si IRCC a des pr\u00e9occupations, il \u00e9mettra une lettre d'\u00e9quit\u00e9 proc\u00e9durale avant de prendre une d\u00e9cision n\u00e9gative. Cela vous donne l'occasion de r\u00e9pondre avec de la documentation m\u00e9dicale \u00e0 l'appui.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Qui est exempt\u00e9 de l'\u00e9valuation du fardeau excessif ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Les \u00e9poux, conjoints de fait et enfants \u00e0 charge de citoyens canadiens ou de r\u00e9sidents permanents sont exempt\u00e9s.
