Pour de nombreux candidats, le mot \u00ab tuberculose \u00bb suscite des inqui\u00e9tudes \u2014 mais la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est plus nuanc\u00e9e qu'une simple r\u00e9ussite ou un \u00e9chec.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Pourquoi IRCC d\u00e9piste la tuberculose<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Le Canada d\u00e9piste la tuberculose chez les demandeurs d'immigration parce que la TB active pr\u00e9sente un risque pour la sant\u00e9 publique. La radiographie pulmonaire requise pour les candidats de 11 ans et plus est principalement con\u00e7ue pour d\u00e9tecter des signes de tuberculose pulmonaire.<\/p>\n<h3><b>TB latente vs TB active : une distinction cruciale<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">TB active : L'infection cause actuellement une maladie. La TB active non trait\u00e9e est contagieuse et constitue un danger pour la sant\u00e9 publique en vertu de la Loi sur l'immigration et la protection des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s (LIPR). Les candidats pr\u00e9sentant une TB active non trait\u00e9e peuvent \u00eatre jug\u00e9s m\u00e9dicalement inadmissibles.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Infection tuberculeuse latente (ITL) : Les bact\u00e9ries de la TB sont pr\u00e9sentes mais pas actuellement actives. La TB latente n'est pas contagieuse et ne repr\u00e9sente pas un danger pour la sant\u00e9 publique. Une constatation d'ITL n'entra\u00eene g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas d'inadmissibilit\u00e9, mais IRCC peut imposer des conditions de surveillance m\u00e9dicale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Que se passe-t-il lors du d\u00e9pistage de la TB \u00e0 votre examen ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Votre m\u00e9decin d\u00e9sign\u00e9 proc\u00e9dera \u00e0 :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Une radiographie pulmonaire pour rechercher des signes de maladie pulmonaire active.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">L'examen de vos ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents m\u00e9dicaux, y compris tout diagnostic de TB ant\u00e9rieur, traitement ou vaccination BCG.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Des tests suppl\u00e9mentaires si la radiographie ou l'historique soul\u00e8ve des questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Que se passe-t-il si IRCC a des pr\u00e9occupations li\u00e9es \u00e0 la TB ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Si votre radiographie ou vos ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents sugg\u00e8rent une possible pr\u00e9occupation li\u00e9e \u00e0 la TB, IRCC est tenu d'\u00e9mettre une lettre d'\u00e9quit\u00e9 proc\u00e9durale vous donnant l'occasion de r\u00e9pondre avec de la documentation m\u00e9dicale suppl\u00e9mentaire avant toute d\u00e9cision finale.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Un historique de traitement de la TB affecte-t-il votre demande ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Si vous avez d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9 pour la TB et avez compl\u00e9t\u00e9 une cure compl\u00e8te, cela est document\u00e9 dans votre historique m\u00e9dical.
